My name is Davit Kikvidze and I am the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Fintech Association of Georgia, Assistant Professor of Management.
I hold master's degree in project management from The George Washington University and Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Master’s in Macroeconomics as well. I’m Experienced Management Professional, with a demonstrated history of working in different business and nongovernmental sectors. Various Successful projects in Construction, Web Development, Agricultural, Start UP Organization Development and etc.
1. What have you found most challenging as a leader?
Ensure people to be more confidence that they can do anything, inspire them to stay focused and everything will work out.
2. How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story?
Information, in my opinion, is the most powerful tool to become a leader. I always tried to learn as much as possible about the work I was doing, I asked a lot of questions and I didn't stop until I got all the answers. As as result I have made myself an in-demand professional. But be leadership becomes when you start inspiring people and it never stops
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
There are a lot of things to do every day, but I plan things according to priorities. Planning things according to priorities has given me significant results in terms of quality. I organize deadlines according to priorities, which allows me to significantly save time and bring high-quality results
4. What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of?
The most important lesson I learned from one of the best leaders I've ever worked with was to not be afraid of fear. Fear is normal, feel the energy released during fear and it will motivate you to overcome all challenges

6. If you could only give one piece of advice to a young leader, what would you say to them?
Stay focused on you jobs, try to learn more from your job than it can be appear, there are always more opportunities in any jobs that you can imagine, so stay focused and never stop asking questions.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader, so far?
A few years ago, I was appointed as the head of a department in one of the banks, which had very bad results, I had just started in this bank and everyone was very skeptical about my appointment, however, in exactly 6 months, together with my team, we managed to improve the results by 500% without any personnel We did not make any changes, we were able to do all this on the basis of team motivation and knowledge raising.
