1. What have you found most challenging as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise?
Employee well being during covid is most difficult to manage when working remotely
2. How did you become a CEO or executive of a large enterprise? Can you please briefly tell the story?
Been through entrepreneurial journey from the day i qualified as a CA and knew where i wanted to go, and took opportunities presented to me and made the most of them
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
Wake up daily at 4.30am. Aim for a balanced approach with meditation, breathing and physical exercises, some breaks in between work to keep my mind sane and also avoid distractions by remaining focused on 1 task at a time
4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
Have a personal philosophy of "bottom up" leadership which is focused on empowering and bringing the leader out of others regardless of their titles. It's the biggest lesson i learnt whilst in corporate
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
The Outlier by Malcolm Gladwell gives great context in terms of understanding how to lead yourself in order to lead others.
6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?
Flat structure through empowerment, creating a centralised vision and goal that all need to focus and deliver on.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?
Making a meaningful impact in our employees lives in a manner that positively affects them, whether it be at work or home
