1. What have you found most challenging as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise?

Hiring the best people w passion.

2. How did you become a CEO or executive of a large enterprise? Can you please briefly tell the story?

Learned many jobs from great mentors that helped me rise through the ranks.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

First is a to do list the night before from my calendar. As well as a week schedule with goals - results. With Int’l business often business calls start early as well as end late.

4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

Always listen to staff & clients
With these current times - appreciate the basics of life more.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

There have been many. This includes reviewing the history of past leaders and events.

6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?

Hire right - train right - communicate and follow through. Compliment and reward.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?

When a mentor of mine often would visit stores - restaurants and talk with all levels of importance. I first saw this from Norman Brinker when I was an employee at a restaurant when in college. Always stuck with me.
