1. What have you found most challenging as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise?

As any leader will tell you, it is challenging to break down the invisible walls between ourselves and our employees and be seen as equals on the same mission.

2. How did you become a CEO or executive of a large enterprise? Can you please briefly tell the story?

Dedication and hard work and becoming an expert in my chosen field led me to become the leader I am today. Additionally, being the protege of a CEO was great training.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I start my day around 4:30 AM by checking my emails. I enjoy having a structured day. I make sure I make time for self-care, self-love, meditation, family, friends, and learning new things. I get at least 8 hours of sleep and do not watch TV. Reading daily is essential.

4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

When I was diagnosed with Cancer I learned that sometimes effective leadership means stepping down, and/ or aside for the success of the organization and of self.

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

The book which has had the most impact on my life as a leader has been "Steve Jobs: The Life, Lessons & Rules for Success".

6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?

Recognize talent, strengths and develop each element of the team and continuously promote top performers.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?

Seeing the professional development of my employees occur over time has brought me much joy as a leader of a large enterprise.
