1. What have you found most challenging as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise?
Getting people across a large organization moving in the right direction across all levels.
2. How did you become a CEO or executive of a large enterprise? Can you please briefly tell the story?
I’ve been in leadership roles from a very young age. Just came naturally.
3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?
4 to 5 am up. Complete administrative minutia first thing. Meditation. Creative time. Then calls/meetings. Done by about 5pm ish
4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?
The Politics of COVID-19
5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?
Anything by Wayne Dyer.
6. How do you build leadership capacity in a large enterprise?
Finding as many smart people as possible, regardless of education. Practical experience rules the day. Avoiding pseudo-intellectual degrees such as MBA’s.
7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a CEO or executive of a large enterprise so far?
Lead by example, be kind, good guys do finish first.
