Texas has become one of the more interesting financial technology markets in the United States. This list is not a ranking. It is a practical, source-led snapshot of people connected to fintech, banking software, payments, fraud prevention, embedded finance, insurance technology, small business finance and adjacent financial infrastructure with a Texas connection.
A note on this list: I compiled it, and I am not on it. I work in leadership and Working Genius facilitation rather than fintech, and I put this together because financial technology is one of those fields where trust, scale and leadership discipline all show up at once. The people below are listed for their own work, not their connection to me.
Why Texas Fintech Matters
Texas fintech matters because finance is moving closer to where businesses, consumers and institutions actually make decisions. Austin, Dallas, Plano, Houston and San Antonio all show up in different parts of the financial technology map.
How This List Was Compiled
I started with the queue topic 50 Fintech Leaders in Texas, then narrowed the final article count to the people I could source with enough confidence for public write-ups. The LinkedIn companion post uses a broader second section of sourced names to reach 50 total tags.

Common Mistakes To Avoid When Reading Lists Like This
Do not treat this as a ranking. A list like this is most useful when it helps people discover names, companies and categories to explore. It is less useful when it pretends that different fintech roles can be scored against each other with false precision.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a ranking of Texas fintech leaders? No. This is a curated, non-ranked list of people connected to Texas fintech and adjacent financial technology fields. Why are there fewer than 50 people in the blog? The article count was reduced to the people I could source with enough confidence for public write-ups. Does the LinkedIn tag list use the same verification level as the blog? No. The second LinkedIn section is a lighter acknowledgement pool of sourced names.
Final Thoughts
Texas fintech is broader than one city, one founder type or one company category. Digital banking, fraud prevention, small business finance, energy finance, Bitcoin treasury, banking software and compliance infrastructure all appear in the same state-level conversation.
