7 Questions with Rudra Abhiram

1. What have you found most challenging as a leader of a small or medium enterprise?

We have experienced or went through a lot of fraud accounts or dealers and twice or thrice we've been affected by fraud dealers and we had to cover that loss so it was challenging for us to choose the right dealers and avoid all the fraud accounts and dealers

2. How did you become a leader of an SME? Can you please briefly tell the story?

It just happened in an unexpected way when I was having a small chat with my friend in a Cafeteria and we were putting each of our ideas forward. That's when Ultmartsore LLP took form. And we started this SME.

3. How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep?

I actually love my work days. They seem very interesting to me .I'm an early bed I wake-up early in the morning just do a little warm up ,take my dog for his morning walk and then get ready for college ,I love to attend college and meet my friends but as of now we are having covid holidays I'm missing on that.So I go to college attend my classes and in breaks and breaks between classes I check my important business mails and if we get any important mail response or if we have any meeting we skip a class if it's not that important and later on cover by taking the notes from one of our friends . And then I return from college at 7 and take my dog for a walk ,have my dinner and sleep early.

4. What's the most recent significant leadership lesson you've learned?

To be patient

5. What's one book that has had a profound impact on your leadership so far? Can you please briefly tell the story of how that book impacted your leadership?

Sorry I think I should skip this one, because I don't read books. I try my best to just see and seek and learn from others.

6. How do you build leadership capacity in an SME?

I am built by daily life experiences and I don't show it. I treat everyone equally in my company and I think that's why my team cooperates a lot to keep Ultmartstore LLP running.

7. What is one meaningful story that comes to mind from your time as a leader of an SME so far?

I was initially very lazy and like any other students would just like to have fun and hangout with friends but I realised and out of my passion to start something I changed myself toned myself and my grandfather and father played a vital role in inspiring me and motivating me and I feel because of them I could be a leader like this.
