The Third Option

One of my favourite concepts is the concept of the third option.

What are you wrestling with at the moment? A decision? A person you're leading? Something in your personal life?

What are the two clearest options for you? Fire or keep them on board? Take path A or path B? Stay in your current role or pursue that study in a different area that you're passionate about?

Okay...

What if there's a third option?

Take a moment now to brainstorm a third option, something you haven't though of yet that's either a combination of the two existing options or something completely left field.

You'll be amazed how often the third option provides the solution compared to options A or B.
