Peter is an experienced Chairman, Non-Executive Director and governance advisor.

Peter possesses extensive and successful senior management experience gained in large listed companies, regulatory authorities in Australia and offshore and government owned businesses. These roles have instilled strong and pragmatic business acumen coupled with very well developed communication and stakeholder management skills with a core focus always on profitable, responsible and risk managed growth.

Peter's executive and non-executive experience has been gained across various sectors including oil and gas, energy, mining and resources, commercial property and industrial manufacturing.

Roles have encompassed the fields of general management, corporate governance and company secretarial, legal and regulatory affairs. Peter possesses very well developed project management and communication skills including specialised joint venture and project management experience.

Peter is a former President and Non-Executive Director, Fellow and Life Member of Governance Institute of Australia and is a regular speaker and writer on governance related matters in Australia and overseas.

From July 2020, Peter is also the President of the Chartered Governance Institute.

Peter is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
