Growth... or control?

Leadership author Craig Groeschel says,

”You can have growth or control, but you can’t have both.”

What are you controlling right now that’s holding you back from growth? Are you controlling your people? Are you controlling the ideas? Are you controlling the budget?

Letting go of control isn’t easy and there’s often good reason. If you’re in a place where you’re pushing for growth it’s usually because you’ve personally controlled things well to grow to where you are!

But you simply can’t have both.

The next time you’re tempted to control something to make it better, quicker or easier, ask yourself,

”Do I want control over this thing? Or do I want GROWTH?”

And then channel some Frozen and let it go.
